the faces behind the company

We at the Really Garlicky Company are continuously amazed by how interested people are in garlic. The "stinking rose" or perhaps more elegantly, "the fragrant pearl," has a long and interesting history. We have prepared a compendium of facts and figures on garlic which we hope you will enjoy. So the next time you are engaged in a stimulating evening of conversing about garlic (what else could be finer?), you should have plenty of clove factoids to sprinkle into your chatter to demonstrate your "garlic breadth."

it's chic to reek!

Tired of fiddling with tiny garlic cloves that are difficult to peel and taste indifferent? Like to get your hands on some serious garlic? From their farm at the foot of the Cawdor Hills, Glen and Gilli Allingham are the only UK growers of Porcelain garlic. It's taken them three years to complete growing trials and settle on a strain of really garlicky garlic that's locally produced and offers a string of powerful flavour, texture and health benefits. Gilli Allingham is a Cordon Bleu cook; Glen is a farmer, committed to supplying high quality produce to Gilli's exacting standards. This partnership is the starting point for an exciting and authentic product that makes a potent difference to the huge number of dishes that require garlic. Closely related to wild garlic, Porcelain garlic packs a powerful garlicky punch, keeps you healthy and doesn't drive you mad in the kitchen.

If you would like to enjoy this unique Scottish garlic, you will find us at local Farmers' Markets or call us on 01667 452193 for details of other outlets.
