A New Addition
16 September 2005
It’s been a difficult couple of weeks since losing half our crop however, we are pleased that we have been able to source a unique variety of garlic from the Tarn region in Southern France, ‘Rose de Lautrec’. Protected by an IGP (Protected Geographical Indication, a European Certification of Origin) and awarded the prestigious ‘Label Rouge’ quality certification, the ‘Rose de Lautrec’ will fill the gap until the Patagonian Garlic is harvested in December.
Please look at Label Rouge and PGI Certifications for more information. Deliciously aromatic with large firm cloves, this famous pink garlic is grown exclusively around the medieval town of Lautrec and is harvested in late June. We hope our customers are pleased with this new addition to our range, feedback always welcome!
